Investment
CargoBeamer raised €205 million of total growth capital. Orion Infrastructure Partners (“OIC”) led the financing, providing €65 million in a combination of equity and debt with warrants, alongside €50 million from existing investors and €90 million in grants from the German Federal Railway Authority and the Swiss Federal Office of Transport.
The financing was utilized by CargoBeamer to build new terminals and add additional railcars to support rapidly increasing customer demand.
